Osborne Street / Robsart Street will forever be tattooed in mind as the best thing that ever happened. Living with the best of friends, I have learnt so much; eaten so much; danced so much. I was just saying to Rohan how the four of us have such different backgrounds and design aesthetic tastes, but somehow created a cohesive home that worked so bloody well. The best 5 years ever.
My time at West Lakes has undoubtedly been the most rewarding year of my professional life. It is almost embarrassing how hesitant I was approaching the store. I have never worked in such a close knit group of people throughout the entire store - full of personalities that would trump Big Brother in any ratings battle. Incredible, generous people that would be the envy of any store.
I have said all my goodbyes and see you laters, the exciting part is the next chapter in Melbourne: a city that have I always, always loved.
New store, new team, new house (wherever that may be), new hopes, new dreams. Here goes nothing.
